Salvo (“Salvo,” “we,” “us”) makes a browser extension and a companion desktop application for audio editing and stem separation. This policy explains what we do and do not collect.
The short version
Salvo’s local engine runs on your own device. Your audio is processed on your machine and is not uploaded to us. The free companion requires no account and no sign-in.
Audio you process
Audio you capture or load is processed locally by the companion app and the extension. We do not receive, store, or transmit your audio content. Stems and exports stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
Information we collect
- Local engine (free): no account, no audio uploads, no personal data collected by us.
- Optional cloud tier (when available): if you sign in and subscribe, we process the account and billing information needed to provide the service.
Third-party services
When you use the optional cloud tier, we rely on third-party providers for sign-in and payment. Each provider handles your data under its own privacy policy.
Analytics
This website may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. It is not used to identify individuals.
Your choices
You can uninstall the extension and companion at any time. For the optional cloud tier, you may request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us.
